Automated and geolocalised alarm at Viasat Operations Centre
Crash detection is achieved through the real-time analysis of the accelerometer data according to Viasat's proprietary algorithms.
The "Motorcycle on the ground" event is detected when the device records a variation of one of the accelerometer angles of the device, which remains higher than 60° for at least 30 seconds with a stationary vehicle.
